Casablanca Therapy by Bojan Jablanovec

Via Negativa: CASABLANCA THERAPY

Probably you’ve heard the old joke about policeman and drunkard having a drink in Casablanca and the policeman asks: “What in heaven's name brought you to Casablanca?” Drunkard answers: “My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters.” “The waters? What waters? We're in the desert.” wonders policeman and the drunkard says: “I was misinformed.” The fact is we all were misinformed. Casablanca is just another joint full of drunkards waiting to winn a cheating roulette. Even if you hide amongst her enemies she will find you when at least expected. Or as an old drunkard from Casablanca would say: “Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine.” And she will ask for the same old song again. Maybe it won’t happen today, maybe won’t happen here, but it will happen soon and your case is closed for the rest of your life. Welcome to Casablanca Therapy. With your presence you’ve already done first truly important step for its success. You confirm it’s necessary.
