– As I know this work-in-progress presentation is a continuation of a previous work: now you add Ádám Márton Horváth (L1-member) to the project to design the soundscape further. How do you plan to work with him?
– With Ádám we intent to inspire each other, movement the sound, sound the movement vice-versa. For the final premier we want to create a complex experience that tells the story and the purpose that it is created for. Beside other materials, a solo performance from 2017 is a base for this new creation, but it is also willing to evolve further: I feel I need to touch it again, to work on it more, strengthen it, continue my story through the performance.
– You were also a winner of the Zoltán Imre Program and you had a premier this spring. Is there any lesson you learnt through the program or the working period that you can use in your upcoming next work?
– A lot! I gathered a lot as an independent artist through the long creation period, but also being part of a program was an experience: that I am not only "one" BUT part of a "big one". It is positive because protects me but also closes me into a box.  I try to focus more on the upsides of the program, that is also why I applied again. I learnt about myself that I like being independent and do everything by myself, though in a long term it serves me so well if I gather around me the right people. Luckily I found them during the last project so now I can start this new journey refilled by them.

– What is your relationship with live music and how do you develop a partnership?
– In a strange way I'm very attached to it. Just like to the "truth" and honesty on stage, what I feel is broken with just pushing on the play button. I am not saying that the sound coming from „outside” cannot be adequate and I reject it completely, but I cannot find the right relationship with it yet.
– What inspires you and where does the inspiration come from?
– It is changing, but mostly it is my life, my experiences, my feelings, that usually give rise to visions that I draw down, and these images continue to work in me. Besides this, reading experiences leave strong imprints in my work as well.
– It will be your first appearance at L1danceFest since you were a resident artist last year and you joined L1 Association this year. What does this membership mean to you, and how can it or the festival appearance itself help your work?
– As I came back to Hungary after living abroad for almost 5 years, I definitely wanted to belong to somewhere and I was planning to build my own freelance career as well. L1 Association offers exactly this kind of existence that I need(ed). Information sharing, paying attention to each other, support, and curiosity are present within the community, and being a part of it is simply good! Of course, I also get professional help, in many forms, such as appearing at the festival, which has been my wish for many, many years! To open a little slice of myself, to look into others, to connect, to talk, to see. This has been important to me both in the past and now.
